¡Hi! I'm Andrea
Therapist, creative facilitator, and creator of The BodyWise, a space to explore whatever life puts in front of us.
I'm a trauma-specialized therapist, a Compassionate Inquiry practitioner, a couples therapist, and a creative facilitator.
For years I've supported people in my practice and in different projects related to trauma, relationships, the body, creativity, and those moments when life forces us, one way or another, to stop and look.
All of that work is still there. The BodyWise doesn't come to replace it. It comes to add to it.
It's born in a particular stage of my life, and maybe also out of a need to open other paths.
I was recently diagnosed with cancer. I don't want to make the illness the center of this project, or a new identity. But it would be absurd to deny that something like this reorders a lot of things inside.
But when life puts something in front of you that you can't negotiate or fully control, some things simply resettle on their own.
And that's the place I'm starting The BodyWise from.
My work continues
Over time, there will also be circles, gatherings, and one-on-one support through my practice here. I'll announce them as they take on a real date and shape, so for now there's nothing fixed, just the intention that they'll exist.
If you want to know as soon as one of the circles, the online gatherings, a retreat, a podcast, or anything else comes along, besides my weekly posts, leave your details and join the list.
What's Coming
Circles
I want to open small spaces where we can come together around some of the things life makes us go through.
Not necessarily to solve them.
Sometimes we need to talk. Other times, to listen. To share. To be with others. To laugh. To cry. Or simply to not have to know what to do for a while.
I'll be announcing the different circles here as they come to life.
Gatherings
There will also be gatherings around themes that come up in The BodyWise: conversations, books, music, the body, creativity, relationships, and anything that can help us look at or move through life from another place.
Some will be online, and others, when possible, in person.
One-on-One Support
My practice continues to be a space independent of The BodyWise.
From there, I keep offering individual and couples support for those who want to work in a more personal and deeper way on what they're going through.
The BodyWise can be a door to get to know me.
The practice is a different space.
And the two can coexist.
